In the framework of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) actions for the effective matching of labour supply and demand, the Eures National Coordination Office organises the first online European Career Day for Tourism, “Work in Greece”, which will be held on Wednesday, February 7th 2024.
The event is supported by the platform European Online Job Days and focuses exclusively on the fields of tourism, hospitality and catering. Its aim is to match Greek and European citizens seeking work with the businesses of that sector in Greece that seek staff for the next summer tourist season.
Jobseekers will have the opportunity to register or login for free in the platform (registration or login) and to upload their CV, identify employment opportunities and also receive updates on the labour market status in Greece.
Greek employers can create their profile (registration or login) on the spot and also have access in a huge CV pool of persons interested in seeking work in Greece during the summer season 2024.
During the event each participant can:
* Watch a presentation about the labour market in Greece.
* Watch presentations of the businesses’ profiles seeking stuff.
* Carry out online job interviews with businesses.
* Participate in the workshops "How to create an effective CV?" and "How to effectively prepare for a job interview".
* Chat with employers and DYPA EURES counsellors using the online chat tool.
