2ο JobReady by DYPA

The European Year of Skills highlights the key role of upskilling for the social and economic development of the European Union.

DYPA (the Greek Public Employment Service) systematically monitors Greek labour market needs and provides both citizens and businesses with the necessary tools to help them respond to these needs. Following the counselling workshops that initially formed part of DYPA’s Career Days, DYPA now implements the JobReady events in conjunction with its e-counselling workshops.

The JobReady events form part of DYPA’s actions that are aimed at offering specialised counselling with targeted content to facilitate job search activities, prepare jobseekers for job interviews, develop business ideas, etc.

At the ‘JobReady by DYPA’ event held on February 17th, participants had the opportunity to learn about the full range of initiatives included in the European Year of Skills, particularly those related to Vocational Education and Training.

Additionally, at the event’s venue, apprentices from DYPA’s Apprenticeship Vocational Schools (EPAS) organised various activities related to their chosen fields of study/specialties.
