Entrepreneurship support programme for unemployed persons aged 30-59 with particular emphasis on women

PROGRAMME ID

The "Entrepreneurship support programme for unemployed persons aged 30-59 with particular emphasis on women" is aimed at supporting self-employment and new business creation by 5,880 unemployed persons aged 30-59.

Particular emphasis is placed on promoting entrepreneurship among unemployed women.

BENEFICIARIES

Unemployed persons registered with DYPA, who, at the time of application:

  • are aged 30-59;
  • have completed DYPA’s personalised approach process and have agreed to a Digital Individual Action Plan;
  • are Greek citizens or citizens of another EU member state or Greek expatriates who have the right to stay and work in Greece or third-country nationals with a valid residence permit for at least the duration of the programme;
  • have completed their military service or have been legally exempted from it (for male applicants).

SUBSIDY AMOUNT AND DURATION

The Programme is co-funded by the Greek State and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) in the framework of the Operational Programme: Human Resources and Social Cohesion 2021-2027, the total co-funded Public Expenditure amounting to €100,000,000.

Beneficiaries will receive the amount of €17,000, to be granted in three installments, as follows:

  • 1st installment, amounting to €4,600, after the start of the business activity
  • 2nd installment, amounting to €6,200, after the end of the 1st semester from the start date
  • 3rd installment amounting to €6,200, after the end of the 2nd semester from the start date

The subsidy lasts twelve (12) months after the start date of the business activity.

The Programme aids are granted under Commission Regulation (EU) no. 2023/2831 on de minimis aid.

To be funded under this Programme, applicants must submit a Funding Application to the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS)https://app.opske.gr/

Based on the benchmarking methodology, the Intermediate Body, DYPA, will evaluate all the applications submitted and select the ones approved.
