DYPA and INEDIVIM have inaugurated a new period of collaboration with the aim of providing substantial support to young people
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today by DYPA’s Governor, Spiros Protopsaltis, and the President of the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (INEDIVIM), Anna Rokofyllou.
Through synergies and various measures and benefits, the two organizations aim to provide substantial support to the students of the 50 Apprenticeship Vocational Schools (EPAS) and 30 Higher Vocational Training Schools (SAEK) run by DYPA around Greece, and, more widely, to the youth population of the country. DYPA and INEDIVIM collaborated in 2023 to help nearly 20,000 young people obtain the European Youth Card for free.
As part of the new MoU, DYPA and INEDIVIM will develop joint actions to further strengthen their external outreach, facilitate the integration of young people into the labour market, and provide information about enrolling in DYPA's EPAS and SAEK schools and INEDIVIM's Second Chance Schools.
DYPA’s Governor, Spiros Protopsaltis, stated: "Today, we are embarking on new era of collaboration with the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation, aiming to work together on information and youth support actions, with particular emphasis on employment promotion. In recent years, DYPA has placed young people at the centre of its initiatives, implementing programmes that facilitate their integration into education, training, and the labour market, and supporting every step they take to ensure the future they envision. The new collaboration between DYPA and INEDIVIM will give us even more opportunities to provide substantial support to young people, who represent the most important, indeed crucial, human capital for the present and future of our country."
The President of INEDIVIM, Anna Rokofyllou, stated: "The greatest asset of our country is its people, especially the younger generation, the creative youth that strives for and deserves the best. I would like to warmly thank DYPA for the excellent cooperation with INEDIVIM, for our shared vision and the new foundations we have laid to achieve what we have promised to our youth—and even more. Our new synergy with DYPA is the continuation of a very fruitful collaboration. Our joint action is now expanding further, thanks to the opportunity offered to DYPA SAEK and EPAS students to take advantage of even more privileges we provide them with in Greece and all the other European countries. We are promoting youth mobility in key areas of economic activity, cultural actions, and social integration, which in turn strengthens entrepreneurship and contributes to the development of the economy."
