Εκδήλωση ΔΥΠΑ - HUAWEI για το πρόγραμμα κατάρτισης «Βασικές Δεξιότητες Τεχνολογιών Πληροφορικής και Επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ)»

The event signals the completion of the online training programme titled "Basic Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Skills" implemented in the framework of the DYPA – HUAWEI cooperation, following the signing of the relevant Memorandum of Understanding in December 2022.

Upgrading programmes in digital skills for 500 unemployed women concerns the training in two thematic fields:

1.        Basic Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Skills and

2.        Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA) – Datacom.

Upon completion of the programme beneficiaries will have acquired the basic skills and knowledge required in the field of networks and will possess the basics of routing, switching, wireless networking, network security, IPv4 and IPv6 basic concepts and SDN and automation fundamentals. Upon successful completion of the progamme beneficiaries will also receive certification of attendance.

It is a part of a greater DYPA planning to offer training and upskilling programmes with emphasis on digital and green skills for which there is an increased demand in the labour market.

This particular event aims, inter alia, to highlight the importance of the DYPA cooperation with leading companies in their field in order to effectively contribute to the bridging of the ICT knowledge and skills gap in Greece and to enable access of both employees and unemployed persons to skills and knowledge that will prepare them for the changes into the labour market resulting from the leaping technological developments.
