Applications open tomorrow for 3 new DYPA programmes in Evros

Applications for 3 new DYPA programmes, aimed at reinforcing the Evros labour market, with a total budget of €18.5m, open tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th 2024, at 13:00.

Job Creation Programme for 600 unemployed persons

The programme aims to create 600 full-time jobs for unemployed persons of all ages. The subsidy covers up to 75% of the wage costs and the social insurance contributions (up to the amount of €1,250 per month) for a period of up to 18 months. The programme is addressed to all businesses operating in the regional unit of Evros. The programme budget totals €13,800,000.

Entrepreneurship programme for 200 unemployed persons

The programme aims to support 200 unemployed persons of all ages in starting their own business, with a total subsidy of €14,800 per business over 12 months. The programme budget totals €2,960,000.

Work Experience programme for 200 young unemployed persons in actions addressing the impact of climate change

The programme aims to help 200 unemployed persons aged 18-30 to gain work experience, for a period of 7 months, in actions addressing the impact of climate change and protecting the environment. DYPA will directly pay the minimum wage (including full social insurance contributions), as well as a proportion of the Christmas, Easter, and holiday bonuses. The programme budget totals €1,700,000.
