Optional Insurance of Long-term Unemployed People for the establishment of the right to pension due to old age

The unemployed who can join the voluntary insurance program by applying to the EFKA branches of their place of residence, should:

1. that men have reached the age of 60 and women have reached the age of 55 (for those insured in heavy and unhealthy occupations the age limit is 55 and 50 respectively), which will be confirmed by their police identity card or passport .

2. to have registered as unemployed with the OAED and to have an unemployment card for at least twelve (12) continuous months before the submission of the enrollment application, to still be unemployed and to have an unemployment card renewed quarterly.

3. the remaining number of daily wages for the completion of the case-by-case minimum requirements for the establishment of a full pension in the IKA and the corresponding supplementary insurance bodies does not exceed 1,500 at the most, which will be verified with a relevant certificate from the relevant insurance coverage bodies.
