Business subsidy programme aimed at hiring 3,000 unemployed people aged 56+ who have completed the “Subsidy Programme aimed at hiring long-term unemployed people aged 55-67”
Objective
The programme is aimed at creating 3,000 new full-time jobs for unemployed peopled aged 56+ who have completed the “Subsidy Programme aimed at hiring long-term unemployed people aged 55-67”.
Beneficiaries
The programme beneficiaries should fulfil both of the following conditions: (i) they should be unemployed people aged 56+ and registered with DYPA; (ii) they should have completed at least the first 12 months of the “Subsidy Programme aimed at hiring long-term unemployed people aged 55-67”.
Subsidy amount and duration
The subsidy lasts 12 months and amounts to €715 per month.
Eligible businesses
The programme is addressed to private businesses and, generally, private-sector employers regularly engaging in economic activity.
