The partnership between DYPA and the Hellenic Network for Corporate Social Responsibility aims to promote the labour force and businesses

 

Spiros Protopsaltis, Governor of the Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA), and Alexandra Palli, Head of Management Board of the Hellenic Network for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR HELLAS), have signed today a Memorandum of Understanding thus celebrating a new era of cooperation.

The partnership aims to ensure the offer of suitably trained and specialised labour force to meet the needs of businesses with the end goal to promote sustainability and responsible entrepreneurship and to highlight corporate social responsibility issues. Simultaneously, businesses- CSR HELLAS members promote the offering of quality jobs and apprenticeship opportunities.

DYPA Governor Spiros Protopsaltis stated: "Supporting businesses and strengthening their productivity are DYPA's priorities and strategic target. Also, the creation of quality jobs, internships and apprenticeships is key for the development of the labour force in Greece. In this framework, our partnership with the Hellenic Network for Corporate Social Responsibility will enable DYPA to create new employment opportunities while placing emphasis on sustainability and responsible entrepreneurship. In an ever-changing world it is critical to ensure the availability of suitably trained and specialised labour force to cover the growing needs of businesses. With this partnership DYPA strives to ensure that businesses will have suitably trained employees so they can develop, while enhancing at the same time the country's labour force, to promote employability and economic development".

The Head of the CSR HELLAS Management Board, Alexandra Palli, stated: "The Memorandum of Understanding between DYPA and CSR Hellas is an important step towards the reinforcement of responsible entrepreneurship and sustainability in Greece. Through this strategic partnership we aim to ensure that the employers will have access to trained and specialised labour force which is able to meet the current business demands while placing emphasis on the sustainability and social responsibility. Through our members CSR Hellas also promotes access to quality jobs, internships and apprenticeships, thus shaping a more just and inclusive work environment. We strongly believe that cooperation between public and private sector is vital to address the social and environmental challenges of our time.
