On April 27th the "Career Day" for the Blue Economy in Athens and for the Digital Economy in Thessaloniki
The Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA) holds on Saturday, April 27th, two simultaneous "Career Days" in Athens and Thessaloniki, with special emphasis on the Blue and Digital Economy respectively.
After the successful live and online "Career Days" in the Tourism- Hospitality sector, DYPA extends the organisation of such thematic events in specific sectors of the economy with many jobs, thus offering the opportunity to businesses to cover their needs in labour force with employees with the necessary qualifications and skills.
More specifically, the Athens event will take place in the Stone Warehouse of the Piraeus Port Authority, (Akti Vasileiadi, Drapetsona, 18648) from 10:00 till 18:00, with the participation of more than 70 businesses seeking staff to cover 1.000 jobs in the sector of the Blue Economy (shipping, shipyards, coastal shipping, marine tourism - yachting, etc).
At the same day another "Career Day" for the Digital Economy will be held at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Centre (154th Egnatia Str, 54636), in the context of the 4th International Exhibition - Congress of Digital Technology & Innovation "BEYOND 2024", with the participation of 40 businesses with over 500 jobs.
Visitors will have the opportunity to communicate directly and without a prior appointment with representatives of businesses looking for staff. They can also receive valuable information on the DYPA actions and offered services from specialised employment counsellors and executives from the Service Unit for Medium-sized and Large Businesses (ΜΕΜΜΕ) At the same time business representatives will have the chance to conduct on the spot, early job interviews and to collect thousands of CVs to cover their increased needs in labour force.
