Signing of MoU between DYPA and SEVE on Training and Employment
DYPA’s Governor, Spiros Protopsaltis, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the President of the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE), Symeon Diamantidis, in the presence of the Minister and the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, Adonis Georgiadis and Vasilis Spanakis respectively, within the context of the event “DYPA Apprenticeship EPAS & ΙΕΚ: Training in the businesses of tomorrow”, with the aim of enhancing the skills of the workforce in exporting businesses.
This new collaboration comprises joint activities in support of human resources, unemployed people, workers and EPAS students.
The MoU concerns, inter alia, the planning and implementation of programmes of vocational education, continuing and accelerated training, counselling, apprenticeship, internship and employment for workers and unemployed people, as well as DYPA’s collaboration with SEVE for a more effective matching of labour supply and demand.
It also provides for such activities as the training of DYPA’s students and apprentices in exporting businesses and SEVE members, as well as informational, advisory/training activities aimed at helping employers find suitable employees, as well as training/retraining for business staff or unemployed people, with particular emphasis on openness and the green and digital transitions.
