FINDE. U Virtual International Job Fair

Porto, UTAD (Trás-os-Montes & Alto Douro) and Vigo Universities, in cooperation with IEFP / EURES Portugal and EURES Crossborder Galicia North of Portugal, will be holding the first FINDE.U Virtual International Job Fair, from May 30th to June 3rd.

With the upscaling of the Virtual Job Fair to an international level, exhibitors from all over Europe will have the virtual opportunity to initiate contact with more than 60,000 University students and 110,000 graduates / experienced alumni from these 3 Universities – but also with thousands of graduates / alumni from other European higher education institutions looking for a job, a traineeship or a research opportunity, who are proficient in an even larger scope of qualifications and skills.

A wide range of options will be available for you as an employer. You will be able to publish your job and traineeship vacancies, collect and screen applications and conduct online recruitment interviews with pre-selected candidates at a time slot chosen by you. You may as well hold a virtual presentation on your organization and recruitment needs, or another topic within the scope of job search and career management, which may be held either from your office or any other location, including the premises of the 3 hosting universities (in Porto, Vigo or Vila Real), if you wish to join us. 

Technical support and EURES assistance in the matching will be available to you before and during the event.

If you are looking for a job, you may apply to jobs / traineeship / research opportunities, meet employers and/or labour market experts from several European countries and eventually be interviewed online. A Programme with a full range of workshops and info sessions on soft skills and personal development, entrepreneurship, jobs, traineeships and research opportunities at the European level, as well as employers’ presentations on their recruitment needs, will also be available.  

Your only requirements will be access to the Internet, a headset with microphone and to register before the event. The 3 hosting Universities will also improve access to these virtual facilities, by providing so-called “FINDE.U Virtual Rooms”, equipped with computers and Internet access, and hosting as well in their own Auditoria a part of the live streamed Programme.
