JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN FINLAND FOR CHEFS

We are currently looking for chefs to work in a variety of kitchens, ranging from smaller lunch restaurants to à la carte restaurants, large restaurant chains and catering events in the Helsinki Metropolitan area. Our chefs are passionate about food, eager to work mainly in small teams and have a true all-rounder attitude required in Nordic settings.
The successful applicant will have:
• Vocational qualification in the restaurant and catering industry
• Minimum 2 years of work experience from different types of kitchens and tasks, mainly casual à la carte
• Banquet kitchen experience is a bonus
• Good/excellent spoken English skills
• Willingness to learn Finnish, starting from kitchen vocabulary, aiming at understanding written recipes
• Willingness to adapt to Finland and the Finnish/Nordic working culture
• Previous experience from working abroad is a favourable asset
• The permit to work in Finland if you are a non-EU/EEA citizen
In addition, you are passionate about food and eager to work mainly in small teams with a true all-rounder attitude required in Nordic settings.
Previous experience from having worked abroad is a favourable asset.
We offer full-time employment for one year, starting in May 2016, after which the employment can be extended. The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the applicable labour agreement.
