9. Job description
Electrical Engineering
You ensure the order-compliant realization of construction projects in the area of signalling systems, e.g. electronic interlocking’s or overhead lines
You control the on-time completion of construction measures in close cooperation with the planning and project management team as well as the external contractors
You ensure safe and smooth rail operations during construction (construction "under the rolling wheel") as well as compliance with applicable operational and safety regulations
You coordinate the various contractors according to the type, time and place of their performance and control and document the performance progress of the construction projects
You monitor costs, deadlines and the agreed quality as well as the release of accounts and supplementary checks
You are responsible for the technical support of the acceptance and commissioning of the functioning facilities.
Civil Engineering
Independent planning of railroad engineering measures in close cooperation with the planners of the trades structural engineering, superstructure or structural engineering
Planning in traffic route construction, e.g. in connection with corresponding measures at railroad stations and level crossings
Managing project documentation, reporting, correspondence and meetings
Participation in the acquisition of projects and preparation of offers
Independent preparation of cost estimates and tender documents as well as the preparation of design, approval and implementation plan

12. Requirements
Good academic education
At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in the construction, electrical or railroad sector
Professional experience in planning, construction management or project management desirable
Good knowledge of German (at least B2). Job interviews will be conducted in German
High sense of responsibility as well as willingness to take over budget responsibility
Long-term willingness to relocate to Germany
