Juhls Silvergallery is found in the heart of the Sami Region of Northern Norway- Kautokeino. It started as a modest building on the tundra in 1959, and was the first silver workshop in the region.  Throughout the years Regine and Frank Juhls expanded their life’s work and it grew into the unique place it is today: An architectural landmark that currently houses 9 fulltime goldsmiths and 5-10 other employees.

The role:
At Juhls Silvergallery we specialize in jewelry made for Sami and Norwegian traditional clothing, as well as our own contemporary designs. We work almost exclusively in silver, and have an extensive workshop with in-house casting facilities.
The work will include the making of hand made pieces as well as the completion of cast jewelry.

The Candidate:
We are looking for an independent a solid person with excellent professionals skills, and good time management skills. Production at Juhls Silvergallery is high, so we seek someone who can work fast, but still have a good eye for production quality.

You are not required to speak any of the Scandinavian languages, as we also speak English and German in the workshop, but if you do that is great.

Desired Education and Qualification:
Graduate Jeweler / Certificate of apprenticeship
We would prefer that the candidate also has first hand work experience within the field, is able to meet deadlines and have good time management skills.
